More and more children are suffering from illnesses that in the past generation were caused in adulthood. Children are on target to have heart disease before they reach the end of their teens.
A lot of the health problems children are fighting are related directly from the diet they are eating.
One of the amazing facts is that more children are either overweight or obese but these same children are also suffering from malnutrition.
In the past we would hear terrible stories about children suffering from malnutrition and all those terrible photos come from Third World Countries, but today many children in the West are also suffering from malnutrition.
Many of these illnesses and diseases that children are suffering from today could easily be avoided if only parents would change the eating habits of not just the children but of the family.
It might mean that parents need to learn to cook and find out about diet and nutrition but in the long run you could be saving your children’s lives.
Do you really want to be responsible for them to have to spend a lifetime of dieting of losing weight, gaining more weight and becoming far heavier than you are?
If you consider your weight and the problems you are suffering from then imagine you are putting those on your children and statistically increasing their weight to more than your heaviest. It is thought that children of obese parents will get to a higher weight than their parents and with that all the bad health that goes along with it.
How would you feel in 10 years time if your child has a heart attack to be told if you had given them a better diet then it would have been avoided? Yes your children might not be suffering from many of these diseases but they are still candidates for them in 10 or 20 years time.
You might argue you can’t afford to buy these foods to give to your children but you will have to afford the medical care needed for them in the future. It might not be paid for by the country you live in and if you have no insurance how would you then find the money for this expensive health care?
You are to invest into your children’s future and their health. The problem is too many parents are investing in the wrong type of health for their children and even for their grandchildren. If you want healthy children and grandchildren then you will learn how to cook good healthy meals, meals that are quick to prepare but again low in fat and sugar.
Do you really want your children to suffer heart disease, malnutrition, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stress, depression, irritable bowel, some cancers, tiredness, insomnia, and various other diseases? If the answer is no then you need to make serious changes to your diet and eating habits and today is a good day to start.
