Foods to Eat with Arthritis

Foods can supply a source of great nutrition, happiness, and strength.  Did you know that there are specific foods that a person can eat to ease the pains of arthritis?  There are even foods that people can eat to assist with the relief of depression, anxiety and so on. 

The list could truly go on and on as to all the amazing benefits specific foods aid out to various people.  When someone has arthritis, it’s no joke that they are on the divine search for relief in all aspects that they can get it. 

Arthritis hurts, literally and it’s only normal to be aware of the yes and no factors of what to consume.  Today, we are actually going to be taking a quick look into the foods you should eat if you suffer with arthritis.

Eating Fatty Fish

This is a superfood when it comes to arthritis and let me tell you why!  When you consume fish such as salmon, sardines, trout, and mackerel, these types of foods are extremely high in Omega-3 fatty acids. 

It’s a known fact that Omgea-3 fatty acids will help to decrease inflammation and swelling for people which suffer with arthritis.  Eating fatty fishes is literally, one of the all time best foods to consume if you have this condition because of the high content of Omgea-3 fatty acid contained in the fish! Garlic is another great food to consume if you have arthritis because garlic has been tested and proven that it’s properties have an anti-inflammatory element in them that will help in reducing inflammation in persons with arthritis!  Studies have proven that this food helps dramatically in reducing symptoms from arthritis.

Research has also indicated that garlic could very well enhance the function of specific immune cells in regards of strengthening a person’s immune system.  There was a study completed where researchers found that out of one thousand and eighty-two twins, they discovered those which ate more garlic had a reduced risk of developing hip osteoarthritis.  This is because of the garlic’s anti-inflammatory elements. Drinking Cherry Juice

It’s a known fact cherry juice helps to relieve the symptoms of arthritis.  How does drinking cherry juice or taking cherry powder help with easing the pains and annoyance of arthritis?  It’s because this food has properties which act as a vessel in regards of reducing inflammation in a person’s muscles or joints. 

It’s been noted that if a person consumes cherry powder or drinks cherry juice it can actually aid in not only reducing inflammation, but also works to prevent various forms of arthritis symptoms. (3)

Eating Broccoli

Not only is this food one of the healthiest foods out on the market, as well the Earth’s land, but broccoli is known to reduce inflammation associated with arthritis.  This food also has components in it that helps inflamed joints and muscles.  There is a property found in broccoli and it’s called sulforaphane. 

What is so special about this specific property?  Well, there have been multiple studies conducted on this property and actually found that sulforaphane will block the formation from a type of cell which is involved in the development of rheumatoid arthritis. 

In an animal study, it was also discovered that sulforaphane could very well reduce the production of specific inflammatory markers which have contributed to rheumatoid arthritis. (4)

Eating Walnuts

This mighty food is simply loaded with compounds which may very well help to reduce inflammation that is linked to various forms of joint disease.  With various studies, it was found that on thirteen tests, walnuts showed that this food helps to reduce high levels of inflammation.  Keep in mind that walnuts have Omega-3 fatty acid in them, which is a great component to consume if you have arthritis.
